2002 Suzuki Katana 750 upgrades

I shot on the suzuki katana 750 yes is mike murphy AKA demon head buster yeah um it’s getting better be when the time is about 40-something degrees outside started her up last night it’s been about a week since I started her today I’m gonna make it my business to grab the stable out the garage and put the stable in there before I put it up it’s not really that much gas in there so are you guys that say run all the gas up I’m still gonna put the state building the lines even though it’s like right at before II I’m just probably got about maybe a less than the about three quarters of a gallon and that’s enough to start it before I actually put it up cuz it’s gonna start snowing in a few minutes but I mean beautiful bike once again it is 2002 suzuki katana 750 completely original some of y’all are looking at that paint saying okay you didn’t have  motorcycle fairings   it repayment no I did not I’ve done nothing but add the stickers to it and it still has the original stickers on the bike right there those are the original warning stickers when I purchased the bike from the guy original warning stickers I haven’t even taken them off they’re still on the bike um I just put these on these are like metal billets for the pro groups err on programs on there kind of wearing down only had them one season I don’t know why I had to spray-paint these a few times but who cares I put the aftermarket merit tent windshield on there I just put in brand new headlights in last night silver star headlights the headlights are actually the original headlights that came with the bike everything is original I put them 230 Evo Bridgestone 230 Evo tires new brakes on the front new bricks on the back I put the Texas you see how huge they are the texas frame sliders and they’re actually steel and they don’t boat through the frame they bolt on to the actual frame of the motorcycle and the screws go through the radiator so you replace the screws at the radiator with those screws um Doka Vic exhaust y’all know y’all oughta see Delco Vic the exhaust from the UK but I said bridge to Bridgestone 230 Evo tires I got the corporate seat and now I’ma tell you something the corporate seat was sitting in the garage right you see this side it’s perfectly fine it’s just side over here started to bubble up so I don’t know what’s up with Corbin but uh I I treated his seat two or three times with leather conditioner some expensive leather conditioner and it was sitting in the garage I come outside this was a big bubble so what I’m gonna do is peel all the plastic away and it’ll look like this cuz this one did that at one point but I filled the plastic away and treated it so it might just be like some type of coating that might be on there I don’t know but the Corbin seat runs perfectly fine clothing see um just to start the tank Pat last night the carbon-fiber tank pad with the two you’ll swoosh marks on
there taking Pat I am gonna end up doing this carbon fiber cuz I’m just not getting into sport bikes so this is like a sport touring bike but it’s still a sport bike cuz I can run with the best of them   2007 zx6r fairings    they tried to leave me the are ones tried to leave me they all tried to leave me and they couldn’t they kept looking back like why is he still here he’s like a thorn in my side um good strong motor starts off saying online has 92 horsepower I have changed a pipe from the original pipe which was about 35 or 40 pounds that pipe is ridiculously heavy ridiculously heavy it is it is extremely heavy I picked that pipe up it was like lifting the 120 pound weights on the bar that thing was heavy that pipe right there that’s on there now the delica Vickers 4.5 pounds the other pipe was about 30 pounds so you know if you drop the weight you’re gonna increase on power I also changed the air filter out on this bike so I’ve changed the air filter out there was a K&N filter in here but let me say something about the K&N okay the K&N air filter yes it is a better effort – than the original air filter to some extent but what happened was they tried to put the air filter in the bike the Keene and air filter and they actually rigged it up so it didn’t really function properly like it was supposed to I was losing a lot of horsepower I was losing compression you know I don’t know why but I just I just lost the intake the intake was terrible and once I put the original one back in it closed up all the gaps to where they had that K&N filter in there and it was losing a lot of air plus it broke on me on the highway just fell apart and it might have been an old kid and they tried to rig and put on there years ago but I got it from the original owner him and his friend they were owning it back and forth across the street he would sell it to him and he would sell it to his other friend but it was only there was the original owner state all the people had it they was best friends they wrote the bike very seldomly the bike only had 6,000 miles on it they never rode the bike over 70 miles an hour they were scared to even go 60 so when I got it you know me just like anybody else I blew it out and when I blew it out I started having little small minor problems that were fixable problems and God blessed me to be able to fix them and now I’m looking at this bike like wow when people see it they think it come off the showroom floor there’s not a scratch on his paint if you could try to find it please let me know oh the only scratch that I have one day in the yard I was trying to pull up and I had to Tim boots on and it’s a scratch right if you can see this right there I dropped it before I had the frame sliders on it cuz I didn’t realize how heavy it was and I thought I had the kickstand down now and I pulled up and leaned over to the side and I scratched it that’s the only scratch or indentation is paint that’s on this paint there’s no other scratch on his paint not one spot on his paint I have the original seat is in the garage um I put the Taylor’s 33 rim tape on there and I said last night my boss he saw my bike and he gave me these little things right here and what happens is while you’re riding  ninja 250r fairings  they get these lighter I put brand new batteries in them um and they work good it looks like a green light is inside your tire at night and it’s just one green circle so one way to other they’re gonna see me I’m gonna put a light kit on there just I just hadn’t got to that light kit yet my buddy down the street had a light kit he put one on his bike and I’m he only spent like about maybe fifty dollars on the light kit and it looked good it looks real real good so I don’t know if I’m gonna go with a whole lot kid I’m just gonna go with one light or all the different color lights I like playing bikes I like playing stuff people say they want to be different but everybody ends up getting those same lights and everybody looks like a Christmas tree going down the street I don’t want to be a Christmas tree yeah I just want lights I got green on there so I might just go a lime green and have the lime green lights and that’s about it but that’s the tank Pat and I’m gonna eventually go and get one of these uh carbon fiber right here and I might spray paint this black if I can I’m just a small amount of pitting on the back if I can show you the pitting is right there so this spring I’m gonna have that removed and all the silver silver silver silver silver’ I’m gonna get those guys to do all powder coat or spray paint gloss black high-gloss black that’s what these guys are gonna do and they’re gonna do the UH the rims over – I’ve been thinking about the rims I don’t know exactly what color I want but I do want to add color because I don’t want to be I don’t want to be like everybody else people say keep it black you know black is not poppy enough for me so I might go with the candy apple red or I might go with the lime green green on green it’s gonna be crazy or green on red I don’t know yeah I’m trying to figure
it out I want to have this bike put into some shows cuz the bike is immaculately clean there’s nothing else really you can find wrong with it at all thank God for that um the only other thing that you guys are looking at these LSL handlebars and you’re saying oh my god that was a huge those are sticking way out I guarantee if you was sitting here right now and you sat on this bike the handlebars are not much further out than the original handlebars the original handlebars were about right here okay all they did was bring them down and bring them just a tad bit closer in so  yamaha r1 fairings  you would have a right seen position and the handlebars were pulled back just bending this bar pulls the handlebars back toward you the other handlebars were a little bit further out they still were towards you but just at a bit further I got the original ones in the garage but other than that I mean pretty bike pretty pretty pretty bike like I said before I mean the bike is immaculate hasn’t given me any problems but when I first got it like I said I ran into a lot of issues because the guys never really wrote the bike and so there you have it suzuki katana 750 Corbin seat Delco big exhaust t30 evo Bridgestone tires Taylor’s 33 rim tape Suzuki stickers katana sticker from Amazon all the stuff come from Amazon except the Delphic exhaust the Corbin seat LSL handlebar kit the carbon-fiber tank pad that came from psycho gear and it was on sale for sixteen dollars the the the mirror tent windscreen which came from China it took a long time for that to get here but for $20 man I couldn’t beat it and it’s actually thicker and stronger than the actual windscreen that came with it the actual windscreen that came with it stops about right here this one goes up to here stops about right here the original one but this one goes up to here it was a real small circle light right there so I thank God I bought a double bubble cuz that was nice that was nice I’m thinking about getting an Iridium which is the different color one so from the same company is $19 and the actual comes with arm stickers they send you anything else you want with it it’s like a package deal but if I thought about getting a seat cow but because I got the Corbin seat I don’t really need to see Kyle and everything else is history man y’all just continue to keep watching um and I continue to keep posting these videos it is awesome
